The Free-Light compact widely tunable transponder (measures only 3.34”x2.87”x0.53”) provides the latest in optical data transport technology for DWDM applications. Compliant with the 300PIN MSA specifications, Free-Light Compact contains both a 10Gbps widely tunable transmitter and a wide band receiver presenting flexibility and support for both C and L-bands. With efficient usage of network space at mind, Civcom took the challenge of designing a small-case transponder while maintaining high performance and reliability.
