Petach-Tikva, Israel, May 01, 2006 – Civcom® Inc. (www.civcom.com) today announced that Its products lines Free-Light and Free-Path have been awarded EU directive 2002/95/EC qualification by the European RoHS Qualification Body (RoHS).

The certification, conducted and approved by the European RoHS Qualification Bureau, declares that Civcom’s environmental policies and operations, meet the global environmental regulations governed by the organization. Such company-wide practices include: equipment operation procedures and management policies according to quality standards, material handling and segregation procedures, training programs, resource recycling programs, meeting strict waste management guidelines and ongoing programs to reduce energy consumption. 
To ensure products readiness in time during the initial evolution stages, Civcom   deployed its RoHS standards with its suppliers and contract manufacture as well. This helped ensure a smooth transition for all supply chain partners. Civcom holds the distinction of also being ISO 9001:2000 certified, an IQC qualification that recognizes the company for its quality assurance in design/development, production, installation and servicing.
